Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using TalkToWP.
TalkToWP provides AI-powered WordPress monitoring as a service. You keep ownership of your data. We provide the service as-is and do not guarantee that every issue will be detected. By default we change nothing on your sites; changes happen only if you switch on Site Actions. You can cancel at any time. These terms are governed by Indian law.
1. Parties and acceptance
TalkToWP ("Service") is a product operated by Beyondt Consultancy & Services Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), registered under the laws of India. Our registered office and company details are on our Legal & company information page. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
2. Description of service

- Security vulnerability and plugin conflict detection
- Performance tracking via Google PageSpeed Insights
- AI-powered issue explanations and remediation guidance
- Plugin and theme update notifications
- Incident detection, logging, and alerting
- Email alert delivery
- Optional Site Actions, which let TalkToWP, or an AI assistant you connect, make changes to your WordPress site (sections 6 and 8)
3. Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account and API keys secure and confidential, accept responsibility for all activity under your account, and tell us immediately of any unauthorised access.
4. Subscription and payment
4.1 Plans and pricing
- Free: 1 WordPress site, at no charge. Free accounts are limited in number and offered at our discretion.
- Solo: $9 USD per month, 1 WordPress site
- Agency: $49 USD per month, including 10 WordPress sites. Additional sites are $5 USD per site per month.
Other plans, including Scale and Enterprise, and any change to the plans above, are set out on our published pricing page, which governs.
4.2 Billing and Merchant of Record
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Your invoice will reflect a charge from Dodo Payments. Their terms are at dodopayments.com/terms.
4.3 Referral program
When a referred user completes their first payment, the referring customer earns a one-time account credit equal to 50% of that first payment, capped at $150 USD. Credits are applied automatically to your next invoice, have no cash value, and expire 12 months from issuance.
4.4 Price changes
We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
4.5 Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. After cancellation you keep access until the end of your current billing period. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as stated in section 16.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- violate any law;
- monitor, or act on, any site you do not own or administer;
- attempt unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with the Service;
- circumvent rate limits or other technical limits;
- reverse-engineer any part of the Service;
- resell the Service without our written authorisation;
- use a connected assistant to act on sites you do not own or administer;
- use a connected assistant or the content actions to publish unlawful content to a site;
- use WooCommerce customer order notes for marketing or bulk messaging. Order notes marked as customer notes are emailed to the store's customers, and that capability is for order communication only;
- use file-write to deploy malware or other unauthorised code.
A breach of this section is a breach of these Terms and entitles us to suspend or terminate your account under section 14.
6. Your WordPress sites
You represent and warrant that you own or have lawful authority to connect and monitor each WordPress site you add, and to enable Site Actions on it.
Agencies. If you connect a client's site, you represent and warrant that you have your client's authority to connect it, to enable Site Actions, and to use the admin-login capability, and that you have told your client what data-protection law requires you to tell them. Connecting client sites under an existing service agreement is explicitly permitted.
Admin login. The admin-login action signs the requester into WordPress as the site's lowest-ID administrator account, which is not necessarily your own account and, on a client site, is usually that client's own user. You warrant that you are authorised to assume that account, and you accept that all subsequent WordPress activity is attributed to the person who holds it.
Our plugin communicates with us through API keys, not your admin passwords.
7. AI-powered features
TalkToWP uses Anthropic's API to generate plain-English explanations and to answer questions in chat. To do this we send Anthropic the site's URL, site context, the error text of incidents, and your own chat messages. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, this data is not used to train their models. AI output is informational, is not professional advice, and may be wrong. We give no warranty that it is accurate or complete.
8. Connected AI assistants and automated actions
You may connect a third-party AI assistant to your TalkToWP account. If you do:
- You authorise it, and you are responsible for it. An assistant you connect acts with the permissions you granted it, as you. Changes it makes to your sites are your changes. Review what you grant, and grant only what you need.
- We do not control the assistant or its provider. We do not operate it, cannot audit its behaviour, and are not responsible for its output, its availability, or the terms under which its provider handles your data.
- Content on a monitored site can influence an assistant. Plugin names, error messages and file contents reach the assistant as data from sites we watch but do not control. Anyone able to edit one of those sites can place text there. We mark this data as untrusted, but no safeguard against this is complete. Keeping Site Actions off, or limited to the groups you actually need, remains the most effective control available to you.
- No warranty for assistant-initiated changes. The disclaimers and limitations in sections 11 and 12 apply in full to any change made through a connected assistant. We take a snapshot before maintenance actions where the plugin supports it, but file writes and deletions are not snapshotted and cannot be rolled back automatically.
- We may revoke. We can suspend or revoke a connection that appears to be abusing the Service, without notice.
9. Customer data and intellectual property
You keep ownership of your data, including data we process from your sites. You grant us a licence to use it only as needed to provide the Service to you. We own the Service, including its code, design, features, branding and content, and aggregated, non-identifying statistics derived from use of the Service, including those used for Collective Plugin Intelligence described in our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of either side's property to the other.
10. Data protection
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Addendum ("DPA"), both incorporated into these Terms by reference. Where we process personal data on your behalf, the DPA applies, and if it conflicts with these Terms on a processor matter, the DPA prevails.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ALL ISSUES WILL BE DETECTED, OR THAT ALERTS WILL BE DELIVERED WITHOUT DELAY.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BEYONDT CONSULTANCY & SERVICES PVT. LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beyondt Consultancy & Services Pvt. Ltd. from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses arising from third-party claims that result from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time, in the app or by contacting support@talktowp.com.
Effect of termination. Your access to the Service ends and monitoring of your sites stops. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do so (section 17).
Your data. You may export your data for 90 days after your account closes. We delete it after that period, as set out in the retention section of our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal, India (Calcutta High Court). Consumers in the EEA or UK keep the rights they have under mandatory local consumer-protection laws, and consumers in the EU may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
If we make a material change to these Terms, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect. If you do not accept the change, you may terminate your account before it takes effect, and we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period pro rata.
17. General
- Severability: if any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- Survival: provisions that by their nature should survive termination do so, including sections 9, 11, 12, 13 and 15.
- Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the DPA are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- No waiver: not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
- Force majeure: neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- Notices: we may give notice by email to your account address or by posting in the app. You may give notice to support@talktowp.com.
- No third-party beneficiaries: these Terms confer no rights on anyone else.
- Export and sanctions: you will comply with applicable export-control and sanctions laws, and will not use the Service where that would breach them.
